1. Why are incense-sticks lit during the worship of Deities ?

According to the Scriptures, Panchatattva (The five Cosmic Principles) Pruthvi (Earth), Apa (Water), Tej (Fire), Vayu (Air), and Akash (Ether) are present in Deities. From among these, the subtle fragrance emitting from the Earth Principle of the Deities cannot ordinarily be perceived by human beings. Incense-sticks have the ability to imbibe and emit this subtle Divine fragrance emanating from the Deities. A lit incense-stick attracts these subtle fragrances and emits them into the environment, enabling the devotees to benefit from them. Hence, incense-sticks have traditionally been lit during the worship of Deities since ancient times.

2. Special characteristics of Sanatan Sattvik incense-sticks

Special efforts have been made to ensure that each variety of Sanatan Sattvik incense-sticks have their characteristic fragrance. Since these incense-sticks are sattvik (Spiritually pure), they are beneficial not only during the worship of Deities but also to effect spiritual remedies.

3. Benefits of Sanatan Sattvik incense-sticks

  • The mind and the environment remain pleasant.
  • They enhance concentration and enthusiasm.
  • They help in carrying out daily activities, spiritual practice, and obtaining sound sleep.
  • They can also be used for the purification of premises, vehicles, and individual aura cleansing.

4. How should Rajnigandha incense-sticks be used?

  • This incense-stick should be used while worshipping the Deities Radha-Krushna and Lakshmi-Vishnu.
  • This incense-stick should be used in pairs or in multiples of two.
  • After lighting the incense-stick, take it around anticlockwise in the premises, beginning from the main entrance. This will help purify the premises. It may also be used for purifying vehicles, clothes, and other objects.
  • For aura cleansing, move either a lit or an extinguished incense-stick from the head down to the feet, about 4 to 6 inches away from your body.
  • This incense-stick may also be used in study rooms, places where God’s Name is chanted collectively, meditation halls, weddings and other ceremonies, Bhumipujan (Worship of a plot of land especially before commencement of any activity on it), and public programmes.

सनातन सात्त्विक उदबत्ती - रजनीगंधा

१. देवतापूजन में उदबत्ती क्यों जलाते है ?

धर्मशास्त्रानुसार देवी-देवताओं में पंचतत्त्व (पृथ्वी, आप, तेज, वायु और आकाश) विद्यमान होते हैं । उनमें से पृथ्वीतत्त्व की ओर से आनेवाली सूक्ष्मगंध सामान्य जीव ग्रहण नहीं कर पाता । उदबत्ती में देवताओं की ओर से आनेवाली सूक्ष्मगंध ग्रहण करने तथा प्रक्षेपित करने की क्षमता होती है । उदबत्ती जलाने से देवताओं की ओर से आनेवाली सूक्ष्मगंध उदबत्ती आकृष्ट करती है और वातावरण में प्रक्षेपित करती है । इसका लाभ श्रद्धालु को होता है । इसलिए प्राचीन काल से ही देवतापूजन के समय उदबत्ती जलाई जाती है ।

२. सनातन सात्त्विक उदबत्ती विशेषताएं !

सनातन सात्त्विक उदबत्ती में अपेक्षित सुगंध आएं, इसलिए विशेष प्रयत्न किए हैं । ये उदबत्तियां पूजा के साथ आध्यात्मिक उपायों के लिए भी लाभदायक हैं ।

३. सनातन सात्त्विक उदबत्ती के लाभ !

  • मन और वातावरण प्रसन्न रहता है ।
  • मन की एकाग्रता और उत्साह में वृद्धि होती है ।
  • दैनिक कार्य, साधना और नींद अच्छी होने के लिए सहायक होती है ।
  • वास्तुशुद्धि, वाहनशुद्धि के साथ व्यक्ति का प्रभामंडल शुद्ध (ऑरा क्लिनिंग) करने के लिए भी इन्हें उपयोग में ला सकते है ।

४. रजनीगंधा उदबत्ती का उपयोग कैसे किया जाए ?

  • इस उदबत्ती को विशेष रूप से राधा-कृष्ण, लक्ष्मी-विष्णु इन देवताओं के उपासना हेतु दो अथवा दो के अनुपात में उपयोग में लाएं ।
  • यह उदबत्ती लगाकर वास्तु के प्रवेशद्वार से घडी की सुइयों की विपरित दिशा में संपूर्ण वास्तु में घुमाने से वास्तु की शुद्धि होती है । साथ ही वाहन, वस्त्र एवं वस्तू आदि की भी शुद्धि कर सकते है ।
  • प्रभामंडल की शुद्धि के लिए जलाई हुई अथवा बुझी हुई उदबत्ती देह के उपरी भाग से नीचे तक देह से ४ से ६ इंच दूरी से घुमाएं ।
  • इस उदबत्ती का उपयोग अभ्यासिका, सामूहिक नामजप के स्थान, ध्यानमंदिर इत्यादि के साथ विवाहादि समारंभ, भूमिपूजन, सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रम इत्यादि में भी कर सकते है ।

३. सनातन सात्त्विक उदबत्तीचे लाभ !

  • मन आणि वातावरण प्रसन्न रहाते.
  • मनाची एकाग्रता आणि उत्साह यांत वाढ होते.

४. रजनीगंधा उदबत्तीचा उपयोग कसा करावा ?

  • ही उदबत्ती लावून ती वास्तूच्या प्रवेशद्वारापासून घड्याळाच्या काट्याच्या उलट्या दिशेने संपूर्ण वास्तूतून फिरवल्यास वास्तूची शुद्धी होते. तसेच वाहने, कपडे, वस्तू आदींचीही शुद्धी करता येते.
  • प्रभामंडलाच्या शुद्धीसाठी पेटवलेली किंवा विझलेली उदबत्ती देहाच्या वरपासून खालपर्यंतच्या भागावर देहापासून ४ ते ६ इंच अंतरावरून फिरवावी.
  • या उदबत्तीचा उपयोग अभ्यासिका, सामूहिक नामजपाची ठिकाणे, ध्यानमंदिरे यांसह विवाहादी समारंभ, भूमीपूजन, सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रम यांमध्येही करू शकतो.
